Welcome to this auction for a very collectable Beatles ‘White Album' LOW NUMBERED (0029974) MONO first pressing double vinyl LP with TOP OPENING sleeve in overall G+/VG- condition. 

This album includes the original discs, but NOT the black die-cut inner sleeves, poster or photos. It has 'The BEATLES' embossed on the front with number stamped on the front. 

The record plays with NO SKIPS, NO JUMPS and NO STICKS. 

Visual: Generally quite a few hairlines and scratches (the pictures show the worst ones), but nothing really deep. Labels VERY GOOD+. 

Audio: Generally punchy, loud and clear but with occasional pops and clicks. Original tonality is present and it's a very enjoyable listen. A low level of surface noise / background crackle is perceptible under quiet tracks such as Martha My Dear but it isn't overbearing or intrusive. The worst bit is a scratch which results in clicks over last 30 seconds of Side 4 but it still plays through perfectly. 

The sleeve is Garrod & Lofthouse, fully laminated top opening, 100% intact and structurally sound but rated as GOOD+/VG- mainly due to age-related discolouration. No splits or tears or scribbles. 

Catalogue numbers: PMC 7067 & 7068.

Matrix numbers: XEX 709-1, 710-1, 711-1, 712-1. 

Being a first pressing, this has ''Sold in the U. K. subject to resale price conditions, see price lists'' across each label, above THE BEATLES. Therefore without the later EMI on the left hand side, with just ''Mfd. in U. K.'' beneath 33 1/3.
