The Beatles low edition 0005377 from 1968 in Mono.
Fair Condition
The condition of this album is fair, it has been well played. I have had it professionally ultrasonically cleaned and can say that Side One and Side Two have visible scratches, an audible crackle and the occasional repetitive pop. There is a small skip in 'So Tired' and a jump in 'Julia'.
Side Three and Side Four play through with audible crackles and pops but on the whole is in much better condition than the fist record.
Both records have minor spindle marks but are not bad at all.
The original black inner sleeves have deteriorated, they are split and torn and need replacing.
The White Jacket (designed by Richard Hamilton) has stubbed corners, discolouration and some delamination around the embossed title. The spine is creased with minor delamination. The album smells a little musty.
The poster and photos are in much nicer condition leading me to suspect they are from a later pressing.
I played this through this morning on my Pro-ject Debut III SE with Cambridge Audio Amp and Focal Speakers. Despite the floors it was still very nice to listen to.
