Description

For sale my copy of The Beatles (White Album).  This is a 1st pressing Mono top loader issue with a fairly low issue number of 0036407.

PMC 7067 with matrix runout numbers:

Side 1 - XEX 709-1

Side 2 - XEX 710-1

Side 3 - XEX 711-1

Side 4 - XEX 712-1

The album is not complete and is missing the four portrait photographs.  The lyric sheet/poster is included and is in very good condition.

The album cover shows some signs of 'creaming' and some ring wear but is in good condition. The inners are the original black ones and do show some signs of age and wear.

The vinyl LPs play well with faults listed below.  I have cleaned them with a lint free cloth using record cleaning fluid but they may benefit from another deep clean.

There are some pops in the beginning of side 1 and crackle throughout all of the records although only really noticeable between songs.  There are noticeable 'pops' on side 4 during 'Cry Baby Cry' and 'Revolution 9' - this last approx. 3 - 4 minutes.

There are surface scratches and scuffs which are visible on both of the LPs (some can be seen on photos) but after several test plays on my Audio Technica turntable there are no sticks, skips or jumps.  I am not sure if playback may vary on different turntables. If you are concerned about condition I can provide MP3 samples. Please contact me.

The album will be carefully packaged and sent *Royal Mail Special Delivery which is insured up to £500.  *If the final auction value is less than £50 I can send the package 'signed for' which is cheaper and insures up to £50. Costs can be adjusted at the end of the auction.

Overseas bidders please note that I use the eBay Global Shipping Programme and costs are set by eBay. If you are unhappy with shipping charges detailed on the listing please do not bid.

Any questions please feel free to ask.
