Description

The Beatles PMC 7067 Mono as released on 22 November 1968. First Pressing in Mono Numbered No 0150501.Top Loader.
Initial copies of the Mono left off "An EMI Recording".This copy has that error to all 4 labels. This was quickly corrected as it was a legal obligation. The Mono mix has a longer fade out to Yer Blues + most noticeably eliminates the fade in at the end of Helter Skelter. So you don,t hear Ringos shout " I`ve got blisters on my fingers" Matrix Nos are Side One XEX 709-1 XEX 710-1 Side Two XEX 711-1 XEX 712-1 Mothers Side One 5 OM + 7 OL Mothers Side Two 2 T + 4 PR Original Black Inner Bags with hole cut out one side for label One Bag has Eason Record Shops sticker to top saying Guaranteed Unplayed The Spine of sleeve has brown staining most of its length due to laminate cracking on the fold All of fold over is present + in good condition I have played it all the way through + it does jump on the start of Back in The USSR Most of the album plays with no jumps but if you`re after perfect audio it won`t be for you It does have visible surface scratches when held to light An example really of the first press with the aforementioned mistake on all four labels. This their first Album on the newly formed Apple Label. The cover designed by Richard Hamilton who has just had a major retrospective at The Tate. The White Album + its constituent parts was displayed inside one of the Tate showcases as part of the exhibition. No Reserve Posting Immediate Will post Worldwide ( Cost £18 in record box )
