Description

Released by Apple in 1968, cat # PMC 7067; this is “The Beatles” by The Beatles.

All of these records came from a one-owner 26,000 collection, so you can imagine that he did not get much chance to play many of the records he acquired! For the full story on this amazing collection, please see our “Me” page and of course look at the feedback we have had as a testament to the quality of this collection.

The gatefold top-opening sleeve is in at least very good condition The number on the front is 617446. The spine has a tiny mark on the catalogue number, partially obscuring the mono number. There is minimal ringwear on either surface. Inside the fold, there is a tiny nick in the top opening by the spine, which is about 5mm long.

Each Beatle picture has a pinhole in the top white border. The poster/lyric sheet has seem some use with pin-holes in each corner and small tears on each end of the fold lines. Both records come in the correct black inner sleeves though one has been repaired with tape in two places below the cut out centre of the sleeve.

All labels are clean with no damage. The overall condition of the four sides is very good. There are some surface marks, but none is anymore than superficial.

In summary, a very good copy direct from the original owner.

Postage and packing will be £3.50 UK, £5 Europe and £8 USA and the Rest of the World.

Insurance is extra and will be required if the value of the record or overall consignment exceeds £28.

Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers; though I will accept cheques or postal orders for UK customers. Overseas customers must pay by Paypal unless agreed otherwise prior to auction end.

I will combine multiple auction wins to reduce postage costs, so please remember to look at my other listings.
