Description
Original UK Apple label stereo 1968 press double LP, No.0455086. The fully laminated top opening Garrod & Lofthouse flipback gatefold sleeve is intact & in VG+ condition, with some very light laminate wear, a small opening split on one edge & an area of staining on the cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, but the laminate has cracked in places & the plain inners are intact & in VG+ condition. The poster is in VG+ condition with a side split which has been repaired & the four pictures are intact and in EX condition. The records are in visually VG+ condition, sides 1 & 2 have a few faint hairlines & one or two small needle scuffs on each side and sides 3 & 4 have only quite a few faint sleeve removal hairlines & a couple of needle marks visible under bright light on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a couple of spindle markings on each side. The sound reproduction is VG+, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief background noise during the run in grooves & in between a couple of tracks , overall it plays much better than it looks and is still a really great loud & punchy listen!! The matrix nos. are; YEX-709-1 mother stamper 2-GGD, YEX-710-1 mother stamper 3-GAM, YEX-711-1 mother stamper 6-LP, YEX-712-1 mother stamper 3-GDG. This is one of the early pressings of the original 1968 UK stereo 1st issue of this album!! All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, but everyones ears and decks are different, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund on return of the record, no problems! All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide. All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!
