    Beatles, White Album, Orig UK Apple Mono G/fld LP+Poster, VG+/VG+, 1st Press!              

Original UK Apple label mono 1968 press double LP, complete first pressing No.0280020, with the 'Sold in the UK..' label texts!   The fully laminated Garrod & Lofthouse top opening gatefold sleeve is intact & in VG+ condition, with some light laminate & corner/edge wear, with a small stain and some creases on the outer cover. The spine is intact and still readable, but worn where the laminate has lifted.    The plain black inners are intact & in VG+ condition, with some creasing and small tears and the matt foldout poster is in EX condition, but no prints i'm afraid.   The records are in visually VG+ condition, sides 1 & 2 have a quite a few faint hairlines & a few needle marks and sides 3 & 4 have quite a lot of faint sleeve removal hairlines, some scuffs & several small needle marks visible under bright light on each side. The labels are in VG+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of quite a few spindle markings on each side.   The sound reproduction is still VG+, clear & precise throughout with definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some background noise during the run in grooves that continues into the intro of a couple of songs & in some of the quieter passages, but overall it is still a good listen and plays much better than it looks!   The matrix nos. are; YEX-709-2 mother stamper 3-GMT, YEX-710-1 mother stamper 7-GGT, YEX-711-1 mother stamper 5-PD, YEX-712-1 mother stamper 1-OT. This is one of the early pressings of the original 1968 UK mono 1st issue of this album!!
    All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any serious flaws noted in the listing, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund on return of the record, no problems!   All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide.   All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!
UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's up to 2KG!
  Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & Russia, Sweden, etc.) and Rest of the World (USA, Japan, Australia, Korea etc.), but airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to weight restrictions.
