Beatles  “White Album” Original UK Press 1968 vinyl – Apple Records PCS7067 / 7068


Original UK Pressing of the White Album with top opening sleeves and dark green & white Apple labels

Cover has cosmetic issues (see below) but is structurally solid with no rips or torn sections.   

                                  

                                        NOTE:  Original inserts (BeatlesPosters) are NOT included

 

Vinyl condition: EX
  • Both sides are clean with extremely light surface wear that does not affect playing
  • No skips  or annoying crackling
  • Tested & plays super  nice

Cover VG:   
  • Glossy white gatefold cover with disk insert openings along top seams
  • Embossed “The BEATLES” and numbered copy “No. 0388574”  (pic # 8)
  • No splits
  • No writing  
  • Spine is solid, but with shelf wear (pic # 7)
  • “Stereo” stamped on back cover top right (pic # 10)

Cover Flaws:
  • Partial ring wear top front cover (pic #1) 
  • Stains and crease along top left front cover (pic # 9)
  • Staining along right front cover seam (pic # 8)
  • Stains along right back cover seam (pic # 10)
  • Staining on interior spine (pic # 11)

Labels: EX
  • Apple Records dark green & white labels
  • Pristine--no ring  wear, scratches, writing or markings
  • “An E.M.I. Recording”  written without  brackets on all four labels (later pressings contained brackets)

Inner Sleeve: VG
  • Original black paper sleeves in good condition for age
  • No  writing or marks
  • Partial side splits on both sleeves
