CONDITION

Disc 1

Labels: EXCELLENT

A rich and vibrant pair with just a small collection of light spindle trails around the cente hole of the side 2 label only.

Visual: VERY GOOD +

Clean & deep-gloss surfaces which display a few small, light surface marks & hairlines in strong daylight with the only signficant mark being a 4mm 'feelable' scratch on track 2 of side 2. Close & careful inspection directly beneath my halogen desk lamp reveals just some unavoidable marks from storage within the matt inners, but no other major marks or wear either side.

Play: VERY GOOD +

This disc plays cleanly overall with no evidence of any groove/play wear on any track. The only significant blemishes are a touch of light background on the introduction to 'Dear Prudence' & 'Blackbird' together with some repeating light clicks for about 20 seconds clicks on 'Im So Tired' and two 'pops' in the band between 'I Will' & 'Julia'. Aside from these minor faults, it is still a very enjoyable listen and my careful playcheck at volume found no other significant audible distractions or wear.

Disc 2

Labels: EXCELLENT +

Another fine set with this time just three or four light spindle trails to each centre hole.

Visual: EXCELLENT

Immaculate, clean & gloss surfaces which apart from some inevitable faint inner-sleeve removal marks on side 4, bear no scuffs, marks or scratches on either side. More examination directly under halogen light shows up only some more harmless inner-sleeve storage marks but no other blemishes or wear to either side.

Play: EXCELLENT

Again, no evidence of any groove/play wear distortion anywhere on the barely played disc. A faint hint of background is audible at volume during the quieter passages of side 4, but there are certainly no clicks, pops, jumps or any other such distraction on this well looked after disc.

Cover

VERY GOOD +

A very respectable, unyellowed and bright white example which displays a clean & glossy front panel laminate but with a 5cm scratch towards the lower left corner & a few smaller ones towards the top-opening edge. However, the unique number is still clean & highly readable. There is some light shelfwear to the lower corners but the top-opening edges are clean & sharp. The inside of the gatefold is immaculate with no marks or wear. The rear panel is also bright & clean with just a single 1cm scratch but no other blemishes or wear. The spine is clean & unbent and despite some splitting to the laminate, all the text is clean & readable. The lower and side seams are all smooth and unstressed.

Poster

VERY GOOD +

Some light handling wear but unhung and fully intact with no splits, tears or writing.

Photos

MINT

All are 'as new'.

Inner-sleeves

GOOD

General wear to both with some small side seam splits to both and small tears to the centre holes but no missing sections.
