Hi, my name is Tommy and I’ve been collecting records for many, many years now. I’ve taken the hard decision to sell off some of my collection due to it being too large and taking up too much room. So please look at my other listings, regrettable they’ve got to go. All my records are stored in protective plastic sleeves, standing upright with no pressure on them. Will be listing many more over the next few months..:(
Listed here is a RARE album by The Beatles titled The Beatles (white Album). This is a UK 1st Original Pressing on Apple PMC 7067/8. This Mono copy is pressed on the very collectable Apple label. Label is Dark Green and has the ‘Sold in UK...’ statement on record. Gatefold sleeve is TOP OPENING and is printed by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. The Album is complete with Poster, 4 photo’s of the lads and black inners. Also has LOW number on front of sleeve 0089561.
Matrix numbers: XEX 709-1 / XEX 710-1 / XEX 711-1 / XEX 712-1
RECORD - All sides of both records are in VG condition. There is some minor/light background noise/static throughout, which is most noticeable on the run-in’s and between the tracks and in the quiet places. NO skips, NO Jumps, NO sticking. Few light pops, some hairline scratches, that don’t affect the play, apart from one on side 1 and one on side 4 that does cause some light clicks, don’t last for very long and doesn’t really effect the listening enjoyment.
SLEEVE - The TOP OPENING Laminated gatefold sleeve is in VG+ condition. Some spine wear, NO edge wear, NO rips, NO Tears, NO Writing, NO Splits. Small amount of creasing, tiny amount of wear to corners and a little discolouration. NO pen names. Still has lovely shine to it (see photo)
Original Black Inner’s, one is in EX condition and the other is VG as it has a bit of tape on it. Label’s EX condition. Small amount of spindle marks. NO Writing or Pen marks apart from side 3 label has some biro marks (see photo, not very noticeable)
Poster is in Near Mint condition, NO Rips or Tears, NO writing or pen names.
4 Photo’s are in VG condition, would be in near mint condition but it looks like the extreme top edge’s have been trimmed. I could be wrong (see photo), the white border on top is thinner then the bottom border.
(note: never grade Mint as I believe once it’s been played, even just once it’s no longer Mint)
