1968 UK 1st *STEREO* PRESSING

**MISSPELT 'ROCKY RACOON' LABEL'**

This NEAR MINT UK 1st stereo pressing is on the dark green Apple labels: PCS 7067 & PCS 7068
The side 2 label carries 'ROCKY RACOON' mispelling (should be 'Rocky Raccoon').
All labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' & the 'An EMI Recording' statement.
Rare 'KT' tax/price codes are visible on the side 1 & 4 labels.

Housed in a fully laminated, top-loading 'Garrod & Lofthouse' stereo cover, numbered: No. 0405806.
Complete with original matt-black inners, UK printed matt poster & four 'thick' card colour photos.

Matrix numbers: YEX 709-1, 710-1, 711-2, 712-1
Stamper numbers: 4/GDP, 2/GGT, 1/RP, 6/RH

Just a single tiny spindle mark to each label.

BOTH DISCS

Visual: NEAR MINT

All surfaces are pristine/'as new' condition viewed in strong direct daylight, with no marks, scuffs or scratches to any side.
Close inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just an occaisional wispy sleeve removal/paper hairline but no further marks or wear.

Audio: NEAR MINT

Both discs have received just two or three careful plays on top quality equipment there is no trace of any groovewear distortion anywhere.
All tracks plays with any background noise, clicks or indeed any significant or major audible faults

Cover: EXCELLENT

A very clean and bright example which retains a high-gloss, undamaged laminate with just light storage wear & some minor toning towards the spine.
There are small bumps to the lower corners but the top opening edges are clean and sharp with no tears or feathering.
The spine is clean & clearly worded and the inside gatefold is in perfect condition.
