Description
This is a really nice UK original, first pressing copy of 'The Beatles' (otherwise known as 'The White Album')
UK Parlophone PCS 7067/8
Dark green Apple labels (one record doesn't mention the usual 'An EMI Recording' text, the other does - I don't know why. This copy is as it originally came. It hasn't been 'messed about with'!)
'Sold in the UK' label text
Top opening laminated gatefold sleeve (with internal flipbacks). 'Stereo' on the rear and a nice wide spine (very wide in fact!).
This copy is numbered 0596221.
Four colour photos, PLUS the original paper dividing sheet!
Large poster
Black inner sleeves
Everything exactly as it should be. Everything original and genuine.
Matrix numbers are all ending in -1 A true first pressing
This is a superb copy!
The gatefold sleeve is in near mint condition - as new and perfect except for a small amount of light storage wear and a small amount of yellowing.
The four photos and single dividing sheet are all mint.
The poster is mint with no holes or tape marks.
The black inners are both near perfect with just a tiny amount of wear to the edges, but no rips, tears or splits
The record labels are all near perfect except for a few very light spindle marks
The records themselves are also near perfect, except for a few very light surface marks, which appear to have been caused by the paper inners.
These records have not been played more than four or five times since new, and this whole item is in fantastic condition. - I've never seen better and I doubt you will either!
