* Original 1st pressing from 1968
* "Sold in UK subject to..." printed on all LP labels (first press).
* "An emi recording" is missing from the left hand side of all the labels - this indicates the LPs are from the very earliest copies made
* Dark green Apple label
* Label number PCS 7067 and PMC 7068 ie stereo
* All sides have the -1 matrix number of the first pressing
* Matrix numbers YEX709-1, 710-1, 711-1, 712-1
* Mother/stampers are 3OD, GOA(?), 4AL and 4MR
* Outstanding visual condition EX+
* All sides played right through, and individually rated.

Outer Sleeve
* Original laminated outer sleeve by Garrod and Lofthouse.
* Heavyweight very early issue sleeve - the very earliest sleeves are instantly identifiable by their heavier weight and strength.
* Top-loading  - 1st issue
* Numbered copy, 0355815 stamped on front cover.
* "The Beatles" embossed in the laminate on front cover.
* The small word "stereo" on the back at top/right
* EX+ condition
* Wonderful condition, completely intact and undamaged, just a few creases in the laminate and slightly yellowing with age.
* Laminate on spine is completely intact and undamaged, all words clearly readable, corners unscuffed

Poster
* Lyrics poster
* Made by Garrod and Lofthouse, correctly identified as such on the back/bottom right corner.
* Rated as NM Near mint
* Completely intact and undamaged, no markings of any kind, no noticeable wear on the creases.

Photos
* Comes complete with 4 photos, one of each Beatle
* No damage, no tears, no writing.
* NM near-mint condition 

Black Inner Sleeves
* The black inner sleeves are in EX++ condition
* Original 1968 matt black paper inner sleeves, (with the hole diecut on just 1 side.)
* Inner sleeve 1 is in EX+ condition  - completely intact, no seam splits, no tears, no damage, just a few creases in the paper.
* Inner sleeve 2 is NM-, also completely intact, no damage, no tears, no seamsplits and less creases in the paper than inner 1 

LP -Visual and Play
All 4 sides of the LPs have been not only visually examined, but also played on a quality deck and carefully listened to all the way through. 

Side 1 - visually rated VG++/EX- a few very light superficial scratches and light scuffs become visible in strong oblique light.  Play of the whole side was EX+ just a few light clicks detectable in the quiet gaps between tracks. No hops/jumps/sticks/ticks or any other loud noises.
Side 2 - visually EX-  a few light scuff markings.  Play was found to be outstanding EX++ , even better than side 1.  No flaws were detected, no ticks or clicks, and no background crackle.
Side 3 - visually EX due to  two very light scratch markings on early tracks. On play these gave three quiet clicks at the start of track 3 mother nature's son. All other  tracks were EX+ and completely flawless.
Side 4 - visually rated EX-, one scuff near the start and a small light scratch on track 2.  Play was rated VG+ , the small scratch giving regular but quiet ticks through track 2 honey Pie. The remainder of the side was flaw free, as on all the 4 sides there were no hops, no jumps, no sticks and no loud ticks or background crackle.
