Initial numbered edition with top opening G & L laminated gatefold sleeve, black inners, poster & 4 color prints, dark green Apple labels with Ⓟ & "Sold In The UK...." text. This was released in error omitting the text 'E.M.I. Recording' on the label, so a second version The Beatles was promptly released with the corrected labels.

Lovely gatefold sleeve , a little fading and some odd marks from storage and handling, not much though and looks really clean for its age - has a really lovely wide , readable spine and a LOW REF NUMBER 0015653...very nice inside gatefold - super all round.
2 black inners in superb shape, very little wear, no rips, a little wear on opening edges

Both LPs have obviously been well played; many light squiggles and hairlines here and there on all 4 sides (tried to show an idea of this in photos). The labels look very good - no marks or writing All 4 sides play with no major issues, no skips or sticks or loud background. There is pop and crackle in places , a few light clicks on sides 3/4 e.g. from Cry Baby Cry into Rev 9 there is a mark causing a few scrapes, and a suiggly line around Don't Pass me By with a few light clicks ,also some bg noise between tracks but generally it is still a fantastic listen overall THE VIDEO/AUDIO CLIP GIVES A FAIR IDEA OF THE SOUND OVERALL - A GREAT LISTEN STILL...
