THE BEATLES - 'WITH THE BEATLES'
1963 UK *DECCA* PRESSING LP
**SUPERB COPY**
This superb & rare UK mono DECCA contract pressing is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1206
The disctinctive 'Decca groove' is visible running approximately 1cm around the perimeter of each label.
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but carry 'Parlophone Co..' rims.
There is no tax/price code visible on either label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with the large mono logo.
The rear panel carries the corrected 'You Really Got A Hold On Me'.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 447-7N & XEX 448-7N
Stamper numbers: 3,8 & 4

Visual: Side 1 NEAR MINT Side 1 EXCELLENT PLUS
Both appear in pristine condition when viewed in strong daylight, bearing no scuffs, marks or any scratches to either side.
Careful inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals a single 2cm hairline scratch on side 2 and a few wispy paper hairlines.
There are no further marks or traces of visible wear.
Audio: Side 1 NEAR MINT Side 1 EXCELLENT PLUS
This beautiful copy has clearly received just a few careful plays on good quality equipment and no audible wear is detectable on any track.
All songs play without any trace of groovewear distortion, background noise, clicks or any other faults.
Listening carefully at volume, I detected just 2 very light ticks between tracks 4 & 5 on side 2.
Otherwise both run-ins & all bands play silently, with no further signs of audible wear.
Cover: EXCELLENT PLUS
An uncommonly fine example retaining a perfect high-gloss, unyellowed front laminate, bearing just two tiny 'thumbnail' creases.
All corners all perfectly square & unbumped and the opening edges are pristine & untouched.
The rear panel is clean & white with no age-discolouration writing or missing paper.
All flipbacks, seams and the spine are in perfect unworn & undamaged condition.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Crisp, clean and undamaged with just some minor toning and normal light storage wrinkles but no splits, tears or writing.
