THE BEATLES - 'WITH THE BEATLES'
1963 UK 1st **STEREO** PRESSING LP
***3 x SIDE 2 LABEL ERRORS***
This rare 1963 1st STEREO pressing is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3045
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but carry 'Parlophone Co Ltd...' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 2 label.
This rare pressing carries 3 x side two label errors which only occured on some early pressings:
1) Misspelt 'Domion..' publishing credit for track 3 (should be 'Domnion')
2) The incorrect 'Jobete..' publishing credit for 'Money' (should be 'Dominion. Belinda').
3) The track 3 title is mistitled 'You Really Gotta Hold On Me' (should be 'You Really Got A Hold On Me).
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofhouse' 'large' stereo cover.
This early cover features the darker 'make-up' front image & the mistitled 'You Really Gotta A Hold On Me'.
Complete with original 'Use Emitex' poly-lined inner-sleeve.

Extremely clean, bright & deep gloss surfaces undulled by bag rash, careless handling or improper storage.
Close inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just two very small surface marks on track 1, side 2, & a few wispy paper hairlines.
Quality, sharp-edged vinyl which lies 100% flat on both sides with no dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT PLUS
The silent run-ins lead into clear, warm & undistorted sound on every track, with no crackle, groovewear on either channel.
Its only fault is a few light ticks at the beginning of 'Roll Over Beethoven'. However there are no heavy clicks, jumps or repeats anywhere.
All bands play silently without any intereference with no other traces of audible wear.
Cover: EXCELLENT
This early example retains a high-gloss laminate bearing just a few light edge wrinkles & a single, small 'thumbnail', but no heavy creasing.
There is a slight bruising to the right corners only & a touch of light wear to the opening edges but no tears or feathering.
The rear panel is clean & white with some minor handling wear but no marks, writing or missing paper.
All flipbacks are intact & undamaged and both seams and the spine are in perfect condition.
Strict visual grading in daylight and directly under a halogen desk lamp.
All discs are carefully play graded in their entirety on a Rega P9 deck with an Ortofon Kontrapunkt 'A' cartridge.
