Beatles 'With The Beatles'- 1963 MONO pressing.

Early 'gotta' Laminated Flipback Garrod & Lofthouse Mono Sleeve
Yellow / Black Labels with 'THE PARLOPHONE CO LTD' around the rim and 'RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED IN 1963'.

CONDITION-
SLEEVE: VG
front- Iconic first generation 'large mono' cover that has clearly been looked after. Very clean with minimal fading and just a hint of ring wear. A single light opening marks and price sticker removal marks prevent an excellent grading . The spine is completely readable and the flip back edges are in brilliant share with no hint of storage scuffing. The opening edge is still relatively sharp with the very minimal of fraying and no tears to the opening edges.
back- Back cover is clean, unfaded and shows fairly minor signs of discolouration. This is the first generation 'gotta' sleeve version. The flipbacks are in great shape and there is minimum browning towards the opening edge. Bizarrely someone has written the respective track lengths on the cover in biro which prevents a VG+ grading. However, a clean and well kept copy, see pics.
VINYL: VG
Beautiful jet black shine. A few superficial needle marks can be made out to both sides of this record but there are no feelable marks or unsightly scratches. Under bright halogen light both sides have fairly mild paper scuffs from the record's removal from its inner sleeve.
Overall, a clean and presentable record.
LABELS: VG-
No names or stains appear on these stylish 1960's yellow Parlophone labels. They are bold, clean and maintain their clear silver font. However there is a moderate amount of whitening around the spindle hole which indicates that this record has been enjoyed by its former owner.
AUDIO- EX
The lovely depth of well kept 1960's mono records on thick quality vinyl throughout.
The tracks on side one are beautifully clear and free from crackle. Even on quieter numbers 'All I've Got To Do' and 'Till There Was You' there is just beautifully warm acoustic guitar and George's delicate lead. Louder tracks such as 'It Won't Be Long' and the fabulous 'All My Loving' suffer from no distortion whatsoever.
Side two is similar with a virtually silent run in to 'Roll Over Beethoven' and quieter tracks such as 'You Really Got A Hold On Me' and 'Devil In Her Heart' offering clear, undistorted and beautiful harmonies. All parts are warm, rich and clear. Even the show stopping 'Money' offers no distortion.
Overall- the bear minimum of crackle between tracks but none which run into the music and absolutely no distortion, pops, obtrusive clicks, sticks or jumps. This is a brilliant playing copy of the album that started Beatlemania and is a joy to hear.

When sending- the record and inner sleeves will be separated from their outer sleeves and placed in poly sleeves for additional protection.
This will then be carefully mailed to you with cardboard stiffners to add increased protection to the package.
