Beatles Yellow Submarine orig '68 vinyl lp apple sw153 stereo w/shrink +5 stickers, ex shape cover with shrink, ex+ to nm glossy lp, ex shape unpeeled stickers (stickers are not orig).
This item is a beautiful original vinyl LP pressing, on Apple Records, of the Beatles’ Yellow Submarine album, originally released in 1968. It bears catalog number SW-153, and it is an Apple Records pressing. While the album contains only one side of actual Beatles recordings – the second side is from the movie score composed and orchestrated by the great George Martin – the six tracks are quite good. Four of the tracks were new to this release: Paul’s All Together Now, a slight but catchy throwaway; Only a Northern Song, a very cool George Harrison tune heavy on studio effects; Hey Bulldog, John’s inscrutable track with some hilarious non-sequitur singing, vamping and animal noises in the fadeout; and my favorite of the four, George’s It’s All Too Much, one of the heavier tracks ever released by the band, with a very interesting recording history spanning the UK and India. All things considered, this side of the album – filled out by the title track (from Revolver) and All You Need Is Love (a single which also saw release on the US Magical Mystery Tour) – is really quite good, although most critics have dismissed it. One other thing is of note – on the import pressings of this album, the phrase “Nothing Is Real” is on the cover graphic under the word “Submarine”. For reasons unclear, it was removed from the US cover when originally released. This pressing is in its original shrink plastic and – if not for only the very mildest of wear around the opening – would be near-mint inside and out.
The vinyl is in ex+ to near-mint condition. The cover is in excellent with shrink condition, as described above and as shown in the photo.

Vinyl grading is usually based on the Goldmine standard and is as follows:
“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.
“M” Mint - a near perfect, or unplayed record.
“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.
EX+ - close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.
EX - a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.
VG+ - There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
VG - significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise, still plays great.
Good - In the record world, "Good" is not good! From here on down, we're talking about beat-up records!
