Just purchased from the original owner [ originally purchased in Corvallis Or at the school store] who removed the original outer cover many decades ago. It appears to me that there are several spots of original cover residue [the little flecks over Johns and Pauls face and many elsewhere are all raised bits of outer cover] that may possibly still be able to be steamed off by someone skilled in those matters. Inside cover has a pinkish color. Side one has a few light scuffs and surface scratches. Side two is in super clean condition possibly in VG+/EX condition for side two, side one more of VG+ condition. I played side one last night and it sounded excellent. I heard only one quitish pop over the whole side and very little surface noise in between the songs. Please see my current Lp lot listings from the same collection.
