Description
The jacket is a Los Angeles (6) Mono Second State Butcher Cover of the Beatles’ Yesterday and Today. Ringo's V-neck is very clearly seen under the pasteover. The record is a mismatch, with a Stereo Scranton press copy of Yesterday and Today. This is how this came to me. The Second State Butcher Cover is ultimately the main attraction here, obviously. A great opportunity to obtain a pretty nice jacket.
The Jacket grades Very Good Minus. Some moderate ring wear, spine and seam wear (spine has a lot of flaking and splitting), small seam tears, corner wear/creases. This copy would present very nicely in a frame and also would look great peeled (if one wanted to pursue that). There is a “6” in the lower right corner, denoting this is a Los Angeles press.
The record rates Very Good. Keep in mind this is a mismatch copy, with a Stereo Scranton disc. Record has nice luster and has some superficial marks. It does have the original insert, which has some splits, tears, and a noticeable crease.
