Beatles Yesterday And Today Original Mono 2nd State Butcher Cover T2553 Capitol
This is a second state, original butcher cover version of the Beatles album "Yesterday and Today." By looking at the pictures provided, it is possible to see several indications this is an original butcher cover. You can see the outline of Ringos shirt on the far right side of the album, as well as the first state cover where parts of the paste over have been slightly peeled back. In the upper right hand and lower right-hand corners of the front cover you can see some of the original cover, and in the bottom left corner you can see where the paste over was not completely lined up and the edge of the original cover is still visible.
This lot includes both the original cover as well as the album, but does not include the paper sleeve that would hold the record. This lot ships with a plastic sleeve that contains the record. The Cover and record have been rated using the Goldmine standard to the best of my ability. The cover is approximately a Good Plus (G+) due to wear and some spine tears. The record has significant scratches and markings and is rated Good (G). Price reflects the quality, but more importantly the rarity of this album. Please feel free to make offers.
