Description
The Beatles "Yesterday And Today" Capitol ST-2553 Stereo LP, over 50-years old, still factory-sealed, NM/NM, back bottom right corner has the RIAA #12 indicating a cover manufactured in the late 1960's (see Spizer book The Beatles' Story on Capitol Records page 241), #12 covers - in my experience - are almost always the green label manufactured at the Winchester, Virginia plant, however apparently some were sent to the Scranton, PA plant as well; the green labels were only manufactured for about a year (1969-1970), it is possible the label could be an Apple but unlikely, this cover has the old-style paste-on slick cover, and the two smaller "vertical" breath-holes on the right side measuring 6 3/4" apart, and the File Under: The Beatles is obscured by the slick at the top right but is there, you just don't find these older Beatles albums still sealed anymore, straight and square, pointy corners.
