BEATLES RECORD ALBUM COLLECTORS

Check out this possible ONE of a KIND item. Guaranteed none of your friends have this one!

You are bidding on a copy of “The Beatles Yesterday And Today” ST-2553 with the Apple Record label.

The jacket and labels are all as they should be for an Apple label Yesterday and Today but side one plays side one of Sgt. Peppers LHCB and side two plays side two of Yesterday and Today!

I am unable to find any kind of manufacturing date but I think it must be about 1976.

I was a manager in a large record store at that time, and I have owned it ever since, taking it out of the sleeve only a handful times to show to disbelievers.

Item Condition

The vinyl is near flawless with only two VERY MINOR 1 inch marks one side one.

(NOT audible)

Both sides play perfectly.

The jacket shows only slight ware on the edges.

Hand etched on the smooth area around the labels:

Side One: The initials KP and SMAL 1-2653-F26

Side Two: Jay and ST-2-2553-H24

Stamped on both sides “Mastered by Capital”

A few times over the many years I tried to find out what this album could be worth but I have never found one like it listed in any guide.  Unfortunately all the “collectors” I spoke with were only interested in buying it and not helping me determine it’s value, aside from their offers, but none of them or anybody else I have ever discussed it with has ever heard of another like it!
