Description
This is a mono pressing of The Beatles' "Yesterday and Today" LP (Capitol T 2553) pressed at the Los Angeles Capitol Records plant. It is a second state cover, with the trunk cover pasted over the butcher cover. No attempt has been made to remove the trunk cover, and Ringo's black turtleneck is clearly visible at the right side of the front cover (much more easily seen in person than in photo). There is visible ring wear on the front and back covers, but the cover is nonetheless in excellent condition (and the butcher cover underneath is, of course, pristine). The edges of the cover are intact, with only minor wear along the top and bottom, and the spine is cleanly readable. The disc itself is in reasonably good condition for a 40-year-old record. There is audible surface noise and pops, but no skips. The labels is the black Capitol label with the rainbow edging. The inner sleeve contains photos of other Capitol LPs by the Beatles and artists like The Beach Boys, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Buck Owens, Peggy Lee, The Kingston Trio and others. The photos are of the actual item for sale.
