I bought this from Perry Cox sometime ago and I understand it was one of his own personal items.  This is what he wrote about this peice verbatim.

"Perhaps one of the best reproduciton record items ever made.  An amazing Japanese 1993 re-print of the original U.S. 1966 first state STEREO "Butcher Cover"of the album, "Yesterday and Today" (Capitol St-2553).  Issued in extremely limited numbers (only 300  in  1993), this stunning reissue lp impressed everyone when it was issued.  Carefully crafted with meticulous attention to every detail!  Even the record and inner sleeve were reproduced to impressive levels!  When this was first retailed in 1993 at $150, most of us balked at the price .... But after examining a copy, most of us quickly snatched up every copy we could find.  Yours truly only got a couple of sets and they were long gone in no time.  If you didn't know better, you would swear you were looking at a multi thousand dollar first state stereo butcher cover!  My advice to the winner is to print a copy of the auction and place it with the cover if you have an original first state so it doesn't get mixed up with your original."

Now that is from the most storied Beatles expert in the world.  This butcher is one of only 300 that were ever made.  Its not the run of the mill Japanese repros you see on Ebay.  In fact, most of those repros aren't even Japanese!  They are made in Taiwan and the U.S., and don't have anything close to the detail of this one! 

This one is in perfect NM condition and includes a NM lp and sleeve.  Its a beauty!
