THE BEATLES - 'YESTERDAY'
UK 1966 *1st PRESS* EP
This barely played copy of one of their hardest to find EP releases is a UK 1966 1st pressing on the yellow & black Parlophone label: GEP 8948
Both labels bear the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 2 label.
Housed in a front laminated, bi-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed picture cover.
Matrix numbers: 7TCE 894-1 & 7TCE 895-1
Stamper codes: 2/GL & 2/GT

A pristine pair with no more than 2 faint spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Immaculate 'as new' playing surfaces in strong daylight with just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines visible directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp. Tough to find a better looking disc.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This superb copy has been barely, if ever played. All tracks play clearly & cleanly with just an inevitable faint hint of background on 'Yesterday' but certainly nothing too distracting. All the other tracks play flawlessly.

An extremely clean & strong example with just a touch of storage wear and a few tiny blemishes on the rear panel, but no significant or major faults.
