Description
Album: Yesterday And Today Artist: The Beatles Type: 33 1/3rd Vinyl, LP Label: T-2553 (RIAA # 6, which I believe means it was pressed in LA)
Released: 1966 Category: Rock Jacket: Very good condition. You can clearly see the shoulder on the right as well as a small 1/16 wide line on the bottom left where the paste over was applied a little crooked. The back does have some writing on it as well as the blue Capitol sleeve (see images). There is almost nothing wrong with the cover. I would call the front a VG++. There is a 2 1/4 inch seam split in the beginning stages on the left side and a 2 inch seam split on the top right edge (again, see pictures). I've tried to show everything to the best of my ability. My camera wouldn't completely focus on the splits but I did my best.
These 2nd state versions are getting harder and harder to come by as most people have peeled theirs to reveal the butcher underneath. You can either buy this clean version and preserve it or have it professionally peeled. I've kept it in a record album frame (pictured) and will include it in the auction if the winning bidder wants it. Surface: VG on both sides (light scratching, nothing too bad for a record of this age).
I don't want to sell the item because I know it will only appreciate in value, but it's come time to let some things go. The item will be carefully packed and will ship for FREE. Don't hesitate to ask any and all questions. Happy bidding!
