Here's the details on this auction:
Beatles~1966~Original Butcher Cover~Pasteover~STEREO!; This is a 2nd state Beatles Yesterday & Today LP also referred to as the butcher album. This is the second state meaning that the trunk cover has been pasted OVER the original butcher cover; Stereo issues are much harder to get than their mono counterparts. This one has light ringwear and yellowing to the front cover; The bottom left corner was lifted by the previous owner who I'm guessing was curious. Ringo's collar is visible through the trunk cover just to the right of the trunk; The bottom seam has about a 2" split that has scotch tape on it however it does not touch the front cover; The spine has about 3" of split/wear at the center; The top seam has a little wear but does not appear to be split. The back cover shows moderate ringwear and small amount of yellow staining on the lower right side; The bottom of the cover has a slight wave to it. I don't know if this was caused by other LPs leaning against it or if it is from someone trying to steam off the cover. This set includes the original 1966 inner sleeve and the vinyl. The number on the back near the RIAA is #5. This might make an excellent candidate for peeling however stereo pasteovers are getting hard to find so maybe it should be left alone? Vinyl is VG-; visually graded.
