Description
This is an original copy of the Beatles YESTERDAY AND TODAY lp on Capitol T 2553, MONO. This one is a second state BUTCHER cover pasteover. The cover is in very good condition but as you can see someone way back put clear tape on all three seams that dried up and yellowed over time. The yellowing seen is where the tape used to be as it basically dried up and fell off leaving yellowing behind that is not sticky and probably can be removed. I am not sure why tape was put on the seams as the only area that had a split was at the bottom half of of the spine which has been neatly repaired(no tape) and almost unnoticeable. top and bottom seams are tight and spine is not bad. If you can remove the residue it would be a nice looking cover as the back side is also in very good shape. You can see Ringo’s V and part of Ringo’s knee from a past partial peel and the white part above his knee is part of the trunk cover, the butcher is fully intact. there is a slight wave that is not all that noticeable but can be felt if you brush your hand over it. The lp is in very good+ condition with mint labels. Also included is the original orange Capitol inner sleeve with a small split at the bottom center. There is a copy of the recall letter to. i am listing more Beatles records.
