Description

One sided Emidisc acetate.  Plays at 45rpm.

This acetate is a Record Collector grade fair but plays good.  Strictly speaking the acetate has to be graded fair due to the additional writing on the label, otherwise the playing area is good. The plain paper sleeve is also graded good. It has been hard to accurately photograph the condition of the item. Please be aware there are more marks/signs of age than we have managed to pick up in the photos. There are some (only just about feelable) light scratches and the acetate has been played enough for there to be audible wear in the groove.  The record is clearly warped but the is still easy to play. It is of the listeners’ opinion that this is the mono mix of the song - known as RM 6 - which was to be on the proposed Yellow Submarine film EP.  This mix did not surface on CD until 2009 when it was part of the Beatles in Mono box set on the Mono Masters compilation, and not on vinyl until 2014 when it was released on the triple LP Beatles in Mono. The song has not quite finished when the lead out groove starts.

The label is a standard Emidisc acetate label, with “ALTOGETHER NOW” (or WOW) rather than the correct title of All Together Now, "45 R.P.M." and "THE BEATLES" written in blue ballpoint pen.  In a different shade of blue there is the number 46 and what looks like some initials. There is no count-in, mix announcement, or studio chatter at the beginning of the song.  There is no additional music or chatter at the end of the song.
