Description
This is the rare "Beatles at the Beeb" radio show produced by London Wavelength - originally aired in the U.S. over Memorial Day Weekend in 1982. (The show was re-released the following year as "Beatles at the Beeb Held Over" -- but this is the original version.)
It's a three hour radio show on three LPs (six sides) featuring more than 40 Beatles songs recorded by the BBC - and up until that point un-released to the public.
Also included is the cue sheet for the show - along with a letter to radio program directors.
The discs are in excellent condition. To the best of my knowledge, they were played once on the radio and have been stored ever since. The box shows some slight storage wear on the back and one of the sides -- and there's a quarter inch tear on the cover photo. (See photos for details.). The package as a whole is in excellent condition.
So if you're a Beatles collector, this unique boxed-set radio program makes for a very rare and unique addition to your collection.
