Hidey ho hep cats. We have here a stack o' wax that's really gear from your favourite mop tops, the truly fab... The Beatles.
Hi there, I have up for auction my treasured import copies of the fab's early Capitol (USA) releases. I imported these in the mid eighties so that's when they were pressed. Sorry, no initial run pressings here.
The covers are not in OCD collector condition, they have small scuffs, tears, edge yellowing and marks from being moved multiple times and being in storage for some time, you can see that in the pics, there is one (Revolver) that is sealed and unplayed. However, the vinyl of each and every disc offered here is in excellent condition with no scratches that I can make out. They have, of course been played early on when I first got them and a recent play through of each disc confirmed them to be scratch and skip free. There are, of course, the inherent pops and clicks that is true of all vinyl.
These discs would suit someone who loves The Beatles and would like to hear how they were presented to the Americans early in their career. These are all stereo mixes which are very different to the Parlophone/EMI Mono mixes that we got at that time. (The later, probably mid '70s EMI pressings were made in stereo, that are different again, which is why early mono pressings fetch a high price. George Martin and Geoff Emerick were re-mix mofos).
I've included 3 bonus discs as they really go with the early Capitol discs. They are "Rarities" which is the Capitol version (different to the Blue Box version) but pressed by EMI Aust. Plus "Hey Jude", also EMI Aust. pressing and finally, the very cheesy "Off The Beatle Track" by George Martin and his Orchestra. A must for any Beatlemaniac.
Track listings can be found with a quick Google search "beatles capitol" plus the same for the three bonus discs or just check out the pics below.
It must also be noted that "Rubber Soul" and "Revolver" are NOT the same track listings that Capitol originally released but the Parlophone track list and stereo mixes of the English releases. I was unable to get the proper Capitol releases at the time as they had changed over to the English track list. I was very dissapointed at the time which is why "Revolver is still sealed. However they are from the US with the Capitol imprint... plus Parlophone/EMI!! Also this collection is missing the Capitol version of Help! I'm unsure why I do not have it???
I'm letting them go as I am downsizing, so all my vinyl has to go. I've added as much info as I can in the item specifics area but if you need more info, please feel free to contact me.
I'm doing this as a 5 day auction with a starting price of only about $15 per disc. This auction is for all albums only, I will not be splitting them up for individual sale. Also, Australian bidders only, I will not be accepting overseas bids, sorry.
These are actual photos of each album in the auction, sorry I couldn't photograph the discs individually as I couldn't get small detail. Instead of listing each album, how about some pics...

Revolver is sealed and unplayed.

These pics are the inner sleeve of Rarities

I've packaged the albums in bubble wrap plus a bespoke plastic box under plain brown paper. I think this will protect them from the rigors of postage. See pics below.

Ready for posting to the highest bidder!!!

Look out for some other of my Beatle vinyl, Ultra Rare Trax and Radio Active in the coming days and happy bidding.
