Description

  • This is an authentic copy of the Beatles' classic White Album, which I bought in the 70s -- not old enough to buy in the 60s! 
  • Numbered copy 0310097, PCS7067/8 [YEX709-12], it is an Apple pressing [the Beatles' own record label]
  • I haven't played this in over 20 years as I prefer CDs, but was and appears still to be in good playing condition
  • There are superficial scratches, and one scratch on side 2 [see pic 10]
  • Double gatefold sleeve in fair to good condition, yellowed but not damaged
  • Black inner sleeves -- one in fair condition, torn in places and crumpled, quite fixable, other in pretty good condition but seams need renewing
  • Original poster with songwords on the back is in very good condition
  • One photo of John Lennon also included, very good condition

  • I still own about a quarter of my original large vinyl collection from the 70s and early 80s, and am now listing them for sale in preparation for moving house.  Most are in excellent condition, due to my lifelong habit of putting a record away before getting another one out.  None have been played since the mid-80s when our turntable stylus proved hard to replace, and we migrated to tapes and then CDs.  I have aimed to describe the records' condition accurately, but cannot play to check playing quality.
