Description
This is the original UK release in the rare, (and very hard to find in good condition) paper picture sleeve of the Beatles UK 45 "Penny Lane" BW "Strawberry Fields Forever"
cat no: R 5570 Black & silver label with pop out centre. matrix numbers: 7XCE 18415-1 7XCE 18416-2
The sleeve is graded VG as it has a name written in small letters on the top of the back cover. Without this name the sleeve would be excellent, as it's avery thin paper sleeve and very few (of the 250,000) remain intact. This has no splits, tears or rips, only a very light crease and very light ring wear, I really think it would be hard to find the actual paper of the sleeve in better condition after 45 years.
The vinyl is also graded VG, there are surface marks and light scuffs on both sides but both sides play very well without jumps or skips, with only a slight crackle before the tracks begin. Both labels are VG+ with light spindle marks, but no writing or tears and the Strawberry Fields side has the raised K T letters on the centre circle.
