Here are the notations for visual grading of the record:
NEAR MINT- (NM-) = very close to perfect.  Might have a discoloration in the vinyl due to processing.  Or a paper scuff.  Something very minor that won't affect the play quality.
Very Good+ (VG+) =Shows minimal handling, age or surface wear-- record still will play nice with barely noticeable background noise and no skips.
Very Good (VG) =Record shows needle play & handling-- will play with more noticeable background noise & no skips
Good+ (G+) =Record has strong indications of being played and handled--plays with more background noise & no skips
