Description
These 4 12-inch vinyl records include rare releases of recordings made by the former Beatles.
John Lennon: “Stand By Me” – U.S. Capitol 12-inch promo-only single (SPRO-79453). This 1975 recording was issued in connection with the film Imagine: The Motion Picture. A great cover version of one of the classic rock & roll songs that he loved performing. Both sides have the same recording. Record & jacket are mint; jacket has promo sticker pasted on.
Paul McCartney: “This One” – U.K. 12-inch single (Parlophone 12RX 6223) also includes “The First Stone” and “Good Sign”; released with Paul’s Flowers in the Dirt album. Record is mint; jacket has crease in one corner but is otherwise VG. Record has a label error; the same label (for Side 2) is pasted onto both sides of the record.
George Harrison & The Traveling Wilburys: “End of the Line” (extended version) - U.K. 12-inch single is STILL SEALED. Released in 1989 with the first of the two Traveling Wilburys albums. Also includes “Congratulations. (W;7637T). Record still sealed and the plastic seal has bent the corners of the jacket slightly, but no damage to record or tearing to jacket.
Ringo Starr & George Harrison: Give a Little Love – This 1987 all-star album was released to benefit the Boy Scouts of America. Ringo and George team up on “Sweet Music”, which also includes Klaus Voorman, Peter Frampton, and Derrek. Ringo is also joined by Klaus and Derrek on “Get Happy”; two very rare Beatles-related recordings. Other artists include Ben Vereen and the Children of the World singing “We Are The World.” Record is mint; jacket EX with minor corner crease/bump.
