CONDITION

Disc

Labels: NEAR MINT

A pristine pair with no more than 2/3 light spindle trails around each completely unworn centre hole.

Visual: EXCELLENT

This disc has been carefully and correctly stored and consequently both playing surfaces are perfectly clean and retain all of their deep-gloss factory shine. There is a 1cm non-feelable hairline on track 1 of side 1 along with two small radial scratches on track 6 on each side. However, apart from that, both sides are unmarked in strong daylight and closer examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals absolutely no further blemishes or wear. Both sides of this well looked-after copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Sound Quality: EXCELLENT

This copy has clearly received just a handful of careful plays on good equipment as the sound quality is rich, clear & unworn throughout. My single careful play-check at volume detected a touch of low-level vinyl background on a few of the album's quieter passages along with two or three of what I can only describe as 'squeaks' on track 6 on each side caused by the aforementioned radial scratches. However, the entire album is free from any groove/playwear distortion and there are no clicks, pop, jumps, repeats or any other audible distractions on this impossible to find pressing.

Cover: VERY GOOD

A respectable example of this extremely fragile cover which bears general storage/handling wear but no major faults. There is some wear towards the front opening edges and around the edges themselves. The rear panel has some age discolouration but is free from and writing or missing paper. There is a 3.5cm split to mid-way down the spine and the lettering is worn away and a 2.5cm split to the lower seam. The upper seam is slightly worn but fully intact. No original inner-sleeve is present.
