Description
The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the vinyl I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
The Beatles-"The Beatles Fan Club Christmas Record" flexi disc, Lyntone LYN 492, 1963 first pressing with sleeve (a second press had to be run in February 1964 without the sleeve due to demand). It's harder to grade a flexi the same as a record, but this one is in overall excellent shape; the playing surface is very clean. There is a 3/4 crease in one spot. It's been play tested and, with the exception of some expected surface noise, which is not overpowering, plays through fine with no skips or jumps. The label has discolored some. The sleeve is in VG condition with some typical general age wear, and a couple of corner creases, nothing severe. Overall a great example of a very rare Beatles record. Flexis this old (57 years!) are hard to find in this condition.
