Description
The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and they will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the items I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
The Beatles-"Yesterday & Today" third state "Butcher" cover LP, Capitol ST-2553, released in 1966. This is the much scarcer Stereo pressing (it's estimated there were approximately 10 times more Mono Butcher covers pressed than Stereo). Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in VG condition, with several light, non-feelable marks/scuffs. Both sides still retain their gloss. However the LP is easily replaced. The front cover is also in (weak) VG condition, with some spots of discoloration, a couple of spots that were touched up, and a name in the upper left corner. The back cover is in VG- condition with some discoloration and a name. Includes an original inner sleeve, in great shape with a small slit at the bottom. Very scarce piece of Beatles vinyl; these Butcher covers are getting hard to find in any kind of decent condition.
