The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the vinyl I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.

The Beatles-"The Beatles Box" (AKA "From Liverpool"), an eight LP UK boxed set, released by World Records in 1980. This was only available by mail order, and therefore is a much scarcer set than those that were available commercially. All vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in NM condition; with the exception of a light handling mark on side one of LP 3, these all look unplayed. They are all on the "two box" Parlophone label. All of the covers are in VG+ condition; they all have some rub wear at the middle top (see picture); otherwise they are in NM-/NM condition.The hinged box is in strong VG+ condition, showing some corner wear; none of the corners are split. All eight LP's have unique covers and a unique configuration of songs specific to this set. In addition, some of the mixes used were, at least at the time of release, very rare. For example:

LP 1: "Please Please Me". Stereo version with John's lyric error

          "All My Loving". "Hi-hat" intro

LP 2: "A Hard Day's Night". Long version, with 6 guitar phrases at the end

          "She's A woman" 1st UK Stereo release

          "I Feel Fine". "Whispering" intro

LP 3: "Help!". Mono 45 version

LP 5: "Penny Lane". Additional trumpet coda at the end

LP 6: "I Am The Walrus". Longer organ intro, extra beats before .."yellow matter custard", ending is in Mono

LP 7: "Don't Pass Me By". Mono version

That's it. Hard to find set, especially in this condition.
