A truly astonishing cover, vinyl and inner sleeve which would be very hard to better. Unless you can find a mint package, this gem can certainly be described as a final upgrade and would make a fantastic addition to any original Beatles collection

The Vinyl
Visually: Sensational deep gloss surfaces, which appear like a new - one light non sounding line, only visible against reflected bright light, on side one, side two is near pristine - could only be bettered by a mint copy
Audio: Near mint - silent run ins - crystal clear, flawless, performance throughout - plays like a new disc - fabulous example

The Labels
Beautifully clean, with pristine vibrant lettering - KT tax code embossed - spindle trails are very close to the hole, which indicates extremely careful handling

The Cover
Almost impossible to find in this condition, so I will explain in detail:
 Garrod & Lofthouse, 'patents pending', 1st issue - it is obvious that this example has been stored upright and not packed tightly, with other albums - the front and back panels are super smooth and have no disc impression, even at an angle against strong light - the laminated front shows nothing more than just a few very small, perimeter, storage wrinkles - due to the absence of pressure, the top and bottom flip backs have remained unchanged from their day of manufacture curving downwards towards the folds, this means that the back panel is raised and separated from the front, creating a beautifully straight opening for the disc - pinched ends spine is snow white, with razor sharp, uncrushed edges and perfect lettering - back panel is just unbelievably white, clean and firm, look at the photos, the laminated flips, which have preserved the original whiteness show the exposed back with exactly the same toning - shop sticker, top and bottom, as well as the original selling price of 32/- ( £1.60 ) ( €2.22 ) ( $2.41 )
