A truly outstanding disc with both sides visually pristine in normal light, even when tilted to reflect daylight, it still looks unmarked
The surfaces have a jet black sheen, usually only present on brand new vinyl
Under an unforgiving halogen lamp, there are wispy sleeve removal lines but absolutely nothing more
Stone cold, silent run ins to all tracks
Touchdown from the stylus is followed by the 'hum' of the needle running along the groove, with no other sound, until the music bursts from the speakers
Needless to say, audio is flawless, with crystal clear sound, including the slight stereo 'echo' effect created on some tracks, by George Martin
This wonderful copy performs as it did on it's first play, delivering a stunning listening experience

The labels, like the vinyl, are near mint, with fabulous vibrant yellow 'parlophone's' and beautiful silver/grey text, all unblemished and in day of release condition
There are light spindle trails on each label

The Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve is a strong example, only displaying some light laminate wrinkles and a disc impression, as well as a small laminate rub line along the top of the front panel. However, this flimsy front flap is in great shape overall, looking better than most. The spine is completely intact with all text perfectly legible. The unlaminated inside panels are exceptionally clean and fresh looking with just a tiny tear at the top of the 'hinge'

The original Emitex, polythene lined, 'patents applied for' inner sleeve is in near perfect condition, made from heavier grade paper, showing no splits or tears

All in all, an outstanding addition to your collection, which would be very difficult to improve upon
