Both sides of this incredible disc are in stunning condition, the deep gloss surfaces appearing visually near mint and only revealing a few wispy handling marks when angled towards a bright light. The whole album performs as new, with stone cold silent run ins throughout, producing crystal clear audio, which gives particular prominence to the echo effect, on some of the tracks, from this stereo mix.
The labels are near perfect with all text in vibrant condition. Side one has just four very light spindle trails and side two, just two. Side one has the rare 'Losser' spelling mistake. As you can see from the photo above, the yellow N, on side one, has a tiny flaw at its base but this is in the print and is not damage.
The original gatefold sleeve is in fair condition and apart from the usual handling creases, has a good spine with a small tear to the top of the 'hinge'. The flipbacks are solid and the inside is clean.
The correct, tracing paper lined, 'Emitex' inner is in brilliant condition, showing some age toning but no splits.
All in all, a truly wonderful example of this, seldom seen, variant.
N.B. I always listen to the whole disc and try to give an honest description of its performance, noting any audible intrusions. Being a buyer, I have experienced the irritation of receiving items which although not described dishonestly, have had details of audible flaws 'conveniently' omitted from the write up. For your own peace of mind, I will give a full refund, including the cost of return postage, if you find the item unacceptable.
I have other Beatles items listed, please take a look.
