Description
The Beatles-"Introducing The Beatles" LP, in an incredibly rare Stereo pressing, SR 1062, released 1964. Vinyl, graded according to Goldmine standards, is visually in G +/VG - condition, with numerous scratches, though most are of the light hairline variety. It play grades VG to VG+. There are three quick jumps, one each in "Anna","Boys" and "Do You Want To Know A Secret". A professional cleaning might help. Otherwise, LP sounds great, with typical, but very minor, surface noise in spots. Labels are in VG+ condition, with light age/spindle wear. Cover is in VG condition. Seams show some wear and partial spots of cracking, but no splits. Light ring/age wear on the front. Someone inked inside the word "introducing" on the front, but a lot of it has faded with time. The same person (I guess) also inked in some of the letters on the back (the O's, B's, P's, etc). Again, a lot of this has faded. There is a minor stain running along one side on the back, and there is a name ("Mattioli") written in marker in upper left corner. Sounds worse than it is. This cover isn't in bad shape at all overall. Includes original scarce VJ inner sleeve. This is partially split on one side, tattered along the top, and old glue stains show through (common with this sleeve). This is the version two LP, with "Please Please Me". Both LP and cover meet all the criteria for an authentic Stereo LP (George's shadow on front, 1/4" inside cover flaps, Stereo on LP labels, "MR" machine stamped in dead wax, etc.). A legendary LP, which, while not in perfect shape, will fill in that hole nicely in your rare Beatles LP collection, with a reasonable starting price. Any questions just e-mail me.
