'TWO VIRGINS - UNFINISHED MUSIC No. 1'

1968 UK 1st *STEREO* PRESSING LP

WITH RARE **MONO** COVER

This extremely rare mono cover is recognisable by the text is being on the 'frontal' side and the omission of the 'Photographs by John Lennon' text.
Stereo covers had the text printed on the rear panel which carried the photo credit.

This near mint 1968 first stereo pressing is on the UK dark green Apple/Track label: 613012 (SAPCOR 2)
Both labels carry the complete track listing, 'Sold in UK..' text and 'Apple Records...' rims
There is no tax/price code is visible on either label.

Housed in rare unlaminated mono cover printed by 'Technink limited'.
Complete with original 'Patents..' white inner-sleeve.

Matrix numbers: SAPCOR 2A-1 & SAPCOR 2B-1
Stamper numbers: 1/GR & 1/GM

CONDITION


Cover: EXCELLENT

Constructed of very thin unlaminated card, this fragile cover has survived extremely well.
The front and rear panels display some natural age discolouration around the central image with a slight disc impression, but no creases to either side.
The corners and opening edges are clean, sharp and unworn and there are no marks, tears or writing anywhere.
The spine and all seams are fully intact, strong and unsplit.

This copy has clearly only been played once or twice and appears virtually 'as new'
There is one small light fingernail scuff on side 2 and a small manufacturing blemish on the side 1 run-in but neither of these small flaws affect play.
Both sides play perfectly with no hint or groovewear, crackle, pops, jumps or repeats.
100% flat on the turntable without dishing or warping.
