Identical in every respect to the iconic 1st pressing, apart from the modernised label, this disc is in very good condition and carries early 1H / 1A stampers
This example is the first issue of this album as it was intended to be, with the correct label layout following a few failed attempts *
The Vinyl
Visually: Surfaces which still retain a good gloss lustre and no signs of groove wear - there are numerous surface handling/needle lines both sides but no deep scratches or any scuffs - the discs sits perfectly flat on the turntable Audio: Run ins are as close to silent as you could expect - playback is loud and clear with just a touch of peak wear which is normal for a stereo disc of this age - Side 1: The first 5 tracks are perfect: Track 6 has a few gentle ticks through the fade out: Track 7 has a few random background ticks, largely overpowered by the loudness of the song - Side 2: The odd pop on the first two tracks (nothing much) - there are no skips or stalls - a fine example in very good condition

The Labels
Parlophone rim text - vibrant yellow 'Parlophones' and silver text - no writing or sticker residue - a few white specks of missing paper (as photo) - expected spindle trails

The Cover
EJ Day original, made from extra thick card - intact but general ageing all over (as photos) - small tape repair on the bottom flip and some missing laminate on the flips

Inner Sleeve
Original polythene lined - extra thick paper - great condition, with some ageing/stains
*
