Beatles-Related 45 SCARCER 1971 Thingumybob on the B-side SEALED!

I can’t test-play vinyl at the minute, so with that said…

There are less than a handful of Apple 45 reissues that are reputed as being rarer than their originally-issued counterparts.  This one is way up there.  I’m guessing that the reason this 45 saw a reissue after having failed to generate sales the first time around, is because there was the idea to reverse the sides, so that the more well-known “Yellow Submarine” would be issued as the A-side.

It didn’t work.

If at first you don’t fricassee, fry fry a hen.

Sleeve:  Excellent.  Surely as good as you would have seen it in the record stores in 1971.  Some manufacturer’s marks on the back,

VERY LITTLE RECORD OUTDENT.  NO SPLIT SEAMS.

Vinyl:  Probably NM.

Labels:  Definitely NM.

Plates:  No way of knowing without opening it.  However, judging by the bright green Apple labels, this copy looks like it was pressed in Los Angeles.

Sealed records that have been opened are not returnable.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

Note:  All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.

Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)

Check out my other auctions for more hard-to-find vinyl!
