Description

Upgrade your vintage Beatles LP collection with this nice original Capitol Records RARE MONO LP by the legendary Beatles. It is a East Coast pressing of 1967's psychedelic masterpiece "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" (MAS-2653). The cover (No NEMS) is just shy of VG+. It's perfectly balanced with great vibrant colors, a really nice front, and none of the typical ringwear on the red back. The upper seam is cleartaped, however, and there is some light tape residue inside the gatefold. This first pressing ("A Little Help From My Friends" title on label) record is in nice VG+ or better with pristine labels, excellent shine, and some light wear visible under light. It plays very well with occasional very light surface noise. The superior mono mix (overseen by and preferred by the group themselves) sounds fantastic. The set comes complete with the rare psychedelic "red wave" sleeve (also East Coast) that is also in super nice condition with no wrinkling but with clean small splits bottom center and one side. The cut-outs (original with heavy cardstock style paper) are included and are in super shape. Buyer will pay $3 to ship via USPS Media Mail. I typically ship within a day or two of payment.
