Description
Beatles-"Introducing The Beatles" Vee Jay VJLP 1062, released in 1964. Much rarer "Version 1" with "Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love You" on the LP. This is the original configuration of the LP; this had a small pressing until this version was replaced a very short time later and "Please Please Me" and "Ask Me Why" replaced the other two songs. Both record and cover are completely authentic, with the cover having George's shadow, 1/4" inside flaps, etc, and the LP having "The Beatles" over the spindle hole, "Audio Matrix" stamped in the dead wax, etc. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in strong VG/VG+ condition, with both sides having several very light marks and scratches. Side two has a couple more than side one, and has an additional very small scuff mark. Both sides still shine. This is the nicest copy of this particular LP I've ever come across, as these are usually trashed. Cover is also in VG to VG+ condition, with no real flaws to speak of, just typical light general age wear, someone drew a "V" under the "Vee Jay" logo on the front and there is a name written very small in upper right corner on the back. Seams are showing some wear, especially at the corners, but none are spilt. Side seam shows company and title of LP with no problems. LP labels, again, are in VG+ condition; amazingly, there are no spindle marks, just general very light wear. There is a name in the rainbow on side two. This will come with a plain white inner sleeve. Classic LP, very hard to find, especially in this condition, and a must for the serious Beatles collection. Any questions please e-mail me.
