Beatles-The White Album
1968 release in the RARER MONO PMC 7067
Numbered 0116730 Very low numbered edition! Made in UK with Matrix-1 /-2 and with NO EMI recording text on labels? Extremely RARE and not what you would expect!
A VERY FIRST UK PRESSING and an EARLY issue without the EMI Recording text on labels!
Limited number 0116730 Top opening, fully laminated ,double gatefold sleeve in superb condition. Minimal ring wear visible !Corners a little scuffed and edge of spine has some laminate flaking in two or three places along spinal column. Top spinal edge wear light. Excellent, clean example , with mirror-like centrefold !! Flip backs, (inside top opening gatefold) ,are undamaged. Very minor creasing in laminate toward top opening edge, front face . An ultra smooth touch to the lamination . Superior gloss and a pleasure to view.
Original first issue poster with lip stick kiss, in very good condition, with minor seam splits on each fold, at edges only . Pin holes, resulting in two tears, on the two upper top corners. A very good collector’s item.
No prints.
Original black inner sleeves in very good- condition. Seam split on one edge and tears on central edges .
XEX 709-1 / 710-1 /711-1 / 712-2 Early matrices ,save for one vinyl side with a -2 matrix .!!! AND NO EMI text on any of the four labels! Stampers at 3 o clock on one vinyl are 5 and 7 and the mothers at 9 o clock are L L and L D and on the other vinyl, stampers are 6 and 1 and the mothers are G G G and G R G .
Labels dark green Apple format in excellent condition.
“Sold in UK…” text showing a very first press of this very famous Beatles release. Just a light spindle trace to report .No hand writing or lifting of any kind. NO “E.M.I. recording” text on all four labels .
Thick ,chunky vinyls with a few visible surface marks/hairlines/light scuffs. A two record set. Mirror like sheen still reflected and the visual is certainly pleasing. Record 1 does have a warped edge and has a noticeable wobble during play. Does not affect the audio however but you must be aware of this. Cosmetic flaw only during play.
Audio is considered at least VG, and considerably better in some parts ,without a doubt .Beautiful delivery! Will delight all who listen to this exceptional record!!! Some distant light static is detected occasionally but the extra loud cut delivery is phenomenal and any surface disturbance does little to affect the music presentation. NO skips or jumps with nothing significant to fault on the audio . Tones are delivered sharply and concisely, as would be expected from a monotone perspective. Should pick up a bargain here.
Your chance to own a remarkable first UK pressing of a very famous Beatles classic at a reasonable price, initiating at a low price and offered with no reserve.
